PRACTICE LIKE THE PROS
Southwest Greens of Austin is a established leader in the design, installation, and sale of easy-care, professional-grade synthetic golf greens. Our backyard putting greens have been trusted by tour golfers including Vijay Singh, Rickie Fowler, Sam Burns, Jim Furyk, Fred Funk, and Hale Irwin, who have commissioned custom Southwest Greens installations for their personal homes.
BUILT FOR YOUR HOME, TAILORED TO YOUR GAME
A Austin home putting green only earns its place in your yard if it rolls like the real deal. Every Austin backyard putting green we construct opens with a site assessment of your property, your terrain, and how you really want to use it, whether that's grooved practice on a single hole or a full short-game setup with break, undulation, and multiple cup positions. The turf systems we install are designed specifically for true ball roll and consistent speed, not just a green-colored surface. Imagine your own controlled shot zones, tee boxes, and greenside bunkers, all proportioned to fit your property.
LESS WORK, MORE PLAY
The upkeep gap between a synthetic backyard putting green and a natural one is significant. There's no watering routine, no fertilizer, no chemical treatments, and no mower to maintain. The occasional debris clearing and brushing is often all it takes to maintain the surface playing consistently, which means more time on practice and less time on upkeep. It also holds up in weather that would leave a natural green out of commission.
BUILT TO LAST, BUILT TO DELIVER VALUE
A well-designed home putting green works on two levels: it's a feature you play on constantly and one that elevates your property's appeal. That hinges on what happens below the surface as much as above it, our base work, drainage, cut positioning, and elevation planning are what help a green performing years in. This is also where a backyard putting green stops being a standalone feature. We can extend the same synthetic turf into a adjacent Austin artificial turf sports area, surrounding lawn, or bocce court, all included in one design and installation plan engineered for your property.
